Today you've decided to take the plunge and participate in a surf lesson! Let's see together how a lesson unfolds within our surf school Gang Surf And why learning to surf in the moors is the best option!
Step 1: Arrival at Gang Surf School!
First, you will get to know our friendly team. Over a hot or cold drink, depending on your preferences, and with plenty of smiles, you can discuss your expectations and questions with our reception team.
Step 2: Preparing the equipment at the surf school
In a friendly atmosphere, we'll choose the right equipment for the conditions and your skill level. The most important thing is to feel comfortable in your wetsuit and have a board that fits you properly so that your session is as efficient as possible!
Step 3: Departure for the beach
This is the time to discuss with your instructor, their experience, and the conditions of the day.
To raise awareness of the need to respect the flora and fauna of these magnificent Landes beaches, both small and large.
Step 4: Warm-up and instructions
The most important part if you want to fully enjoy this course with the Gang as well as the beauty of the beaches of Biscarosse.
A warm-up will be an opportunity to review certain safety and respect guidelines both on the beach and in the water.
Step 5: The basics and technique of surfing
Just a little more patience and you'll soon be in the water! Before you brave the waves, our instructors will teach you the basics of the sport, the movements, techniques, and tips. Don't hesitate to ask any questions you may have; it will help us better meet your expectations!
Step 6: We take the plunge
Now's the time to put those tips and techniques you learned earlier into practice! Use this session to let go and focus on yourself. Surfing requires detachment. The goal is to have fun and create a beautiful memory. So let loose!
Step 7: Post-session debriefing
You decipher your session with us instructors, the moment to talk about the sensations and emotions felt when you were in the water.
Before leaving, we check that the beach is as it was before our arrival in order to leave a clean place; it's also the time to rinse the boards!
Step 8: Return to Gang Surf School
This is a great opportunity to adopt good habits like removing sand from your board and washing your wetsuit with fresh water. You can also take advantage of the time to chat with our team over a snack, because surfing works up an appetite!
A surf lesson is first and foremost a time for fun and sharing. It's also a chance for you to think about nothing but the waves and your session. This timeless moment will leave you with wonderful memories, and our instructors will ensure the safety of the group and the smooth running of the session.
