At the house of Gang Surf, We share a common passion for the ocean, surfing, and time spent on the water. Beyond teaching surfing, our school is committed to a responsible approach, based on respect for the environment and making the sport accessible to everyone.
Being a surf school in Biscarrosse means accompanying our local students and holidaymakers in the discovery of surfing, while transmitting values of respect, kindness and sharing, regardless of age, level or abilities.
A concrete commitment to the environment
Surfing brings us closer to nature. That's why we implement concrete actions every day to limit our environmental impact. We prioritize responsible water use, avoid systematically rinsing surfboards, encourage the use of reusable water bottles, and raise our students' awareness of the fragility of the marine environment, as well as the importance of preserving the beaches and dunes of Biscarrosse.
Litter collection is naturally part of our activities. During each lesson, instructors and students participate in this collective effort, with the aim of maintaining a clean and welcoming coastline throughout the year.
Accessible and inclusive surfing
At Gang Surf, we believe surfing is a sport open to everyone. We welcome children, teenagers, and adults, beginners and experienced surfers alike, and we are committed to making surfing accessible to as many people as possible. We also establish partnerships to open up surfing to young people who have limited access to the sport.
We are also committed to providing appropriate support for individuals requiring special attention, whether physical or psychological. Our instructor Christophe holds the certification adaptive surfing, enabling him to supervise people with disabilities in suitable, safe and respectful conditions.
We are proud of our partnership with Sugar Palace, [Name of organization], an association dedicated to supporting people living with diabetes and chronic illnesses. Through awareness campaigns, events, and especially surf-related projects, it works to change perceptions of illness and promote an active and fulfilling life. This partnership is above all a shared desire to challenge the status quo, share the energy of the ocean, and show that anything is possible, even with a chronic illness.

We pay particular attention to the choice of products and equipment used within the school. We offer ocean-friendly sunscreens, use eco-friendly cleaning products, and prioritize organizations with a low environmental impact for our events.
Raising awareness of climate and local issues is also an integral part of our approach, in order to encourage a more conscious and sustainable practice of surfing.

In keeping with our overall approach, we encourage eco-friendly travel. The school is easily accessible by bicycle and has two secure parking areas. Solutions for charging for electric vehicles are available nearby, notably in Biscarrosse Plage on Place Dufau (2 min from Gang Surf) and at the Biscarrosse Bourg town hall (15 min from Gang Surf).
The numerous cycle paths Biscarrosse also offers an ideal alternative for getting around and exploring the region in a more environmentally friendly way. Our team is available to guide and advise you.

Our commitments are based on a collective dynamic involving the team, students, and holidaymakers. Together, we work towards more responsible, inclusive, and sustainable surfing in Biscarrosse, respecting the ocean and those who practice it.
For the past 4 years, we have been proud to hold the Tourism Quality Label, an official recognition of the quality of our welcome and services. This year, we are going even further by applying for the label Destination of Excellence, a new system led by Atout France which strengthens quality criteria while integrating an eco-responsible and sustainable dimension into the tourism offer.
