In practical terms, this also involves simple actions:
- on avoid systematically rinsing the boards with clean water after each session
- We raise awareness about the beauty and richness of our natural environment
- we encourage more responsible habits
Because a good surfer is someone who loves their spot… and takes care of it every day!
🗑️ Beach clean-up
THE waste collection are part of the habits:
- During each lesson, students and teachers are invited to pick up litter on the beach.
- simple objective: leave the beach clean
♻️ Less plastic, more common sense
We try to reduce our impact as much as possible:
- no single-use plastic when it can be avoided
- Reusable water bottles are strongly encouraged.
- waste sorting and raising awareness about recycling within the Gang
🌊 Respect for the ocean, even out of the water
Because what we put on our skin often ends up in the sea:
- sale of ocean-friendly sunscreens – EQ
- use of more environmentally friendly (organic) cleaning products
🌍 Get involved locally
Gang Surf is also a school deeply rooted in its local area:
- support for local environmental initiatives
- collaboration with ocean protection associations
