At Gang Surf,we share a common passion for the ocean, surfing, and life on the water. Beyond teaching the sport, our school is built on a responsible approach rooted in environmental stewardship and accessibility for all.
Being a surf school in Biscarrosse means guiding both locals and holidaymakers in discovering the waves while passing on values of respect, kindness, and sharing regardless of age, skill level, or individual abilities.
A Concrete Commitment to the Environment
Surfing brings us closer to nature than almost any other sport, which is why we take daily actions to limit our environmental footprint. We promote mindful water use by avoiding unnecessary board rinsing and encourage our students to use reusable water bottles. Beyond these habits, we actively raise awareness about the fragility of marine ecosystems and the vital importance of protecting the beaches and dunes of Biscarrosse.
Beach clean-ups are a natural part of our activities; during every lesson, instructors and students join in a collective effort to keep our coastline clean and welcoming all year round.
Accessible and Inclusive Surfing
We believe that surfing belongs to everyone. At Gang Surf, we welcome children, teenagers, and adults, from absolute beginners to experienced surfers. We are deeply committed to making the ocean accessible to as many people as possible, which is why we work with local partners to provide surfing opportunities for young people who may have limited access to sports.
Furthermore, we strive to provide adapted supervision for individuals requiring specific physical or additional support. Our instructor, Christophe, holds a Handisurf certification (Adaptive Surfing),allowing him to coach people with disabilities in safe, respectful, and optimized conditions.
Nous sommes fiers de notre partenariat avec Sugar Palace, an association dedicated to supporting people living with diabetes and chronic illnesses. Through awareness campaigns, events, and especially surf-related projects, they work to change perceptions of illness and promote an active, fulfilling life.
This partnership is above all about a shared desire to push boundaries, share the energy of the ocean, and show that anything is possible, even with a chronic condition.
Our goal is to give everyone the chance to discover surfing in Biscarrosse and to enjoy a positive, rewarding, and empowering experience in contact with the ocean.

As part of our global approach, we actively encourage sustainable mobility. The school is easily accessible by bike and features two secure bike parking areas for your convenience. For those traveling by electric vehicle, charging points are available nearby at Place Dufau in Biscarrosse Plage (2 minutes from the school) and near the Town Hall in the center of Biscarrosse (15 minutes away).
The many cycling paths surrounding the region provide an ideal, eco-friendly alternative for getting around and discovering the beauty of our coastline. Our team is always available to guide and advise you on the best routes.

This year, we are taking the next step by applying for the Destination of Excellence Label, a new initiative led by Atout France that strengthens quality standards while integrating eco-responsible and sustainable practices into the tourism experience.
